We set up a ballon installation in a hidden courtyard with Cloud workshop during the EASA 2011 in the beautiful city of Cadiz.
With a group of people of Easa Cloud workshop we are experimenting with the 3 dimensional space usage of an urban square. We measure horizontal & vertical directions, low & high, ground & sky.
The scene is given with the urban surrounding, we make the scaling with the ballons. The unit is one ballon, we let them go from our hands. We link them together so they form a surface, what we ground in a measured grid. Through their strings we let them higher and higher, until they occupy the urban sky frame. Then we let them further until it get lost up in the sky, until they totally disappear in the huge and endless black universe.
